The authority service of the celebration of the 31st commemoration of Operation Fenkil was led today 13 February in the port city of Massawa under the subject “Activity Fenkil for Generations”.
The Governor of the Northern Red Sea Region, Ms. Asmeret Abraha, laid a wreath toward the beginning of today at Massawa’s Twalet Martyrs Cemetery in recognition of Eritrea’s children and little girls who died in Operation Fenkil to free their country and individuals.
The exhibitions portraying Operation Fenkil were communicated live through ERI-TV and Dimtsi Hafash.
At the occasion, Ms. Asmeret Abraha, Governor of the Northern Red Sea locale conveyed the message of the day underlining the definiteness of Operation Fenkil in freeing the essential port city of Massawa just as preparing for complete freedom.
