In total, More Eritreans immigrate to European countries. According to UNHCR refugee statistics, There are over half a million Eritreans registed as asylum seekers in total up to 2019. This statistics does not include Eritreans who left Eritrea outside UNHCR registation, like family reunion, children. It also does not include the 300,000 Eritreans in Ethiopia and other African countries, who did not claim asylum status in their host countries.
